📌 PlusAI and IVECO are launching Southern Europe’s first Level 4 autonomous trucking program, signaling steady progress from pilot testing toward operational deployment in commercial freight.

The program marks the first Level 4 autonomous truck deployment in Southern Europe, launched in collaboration with Sesé and the Government of Aragon.
PlusAI and IVECO will develop two IVECO S-Way trucks integrated with PlusAI’s SuperDrive™ virtual driver.
The trucks will begin multi-year testing in 2026 on freight routes between Madrid and Zaragoza, covering approximately 300 km.
All trial operations will include a safety operator on board throughout the testing period.
