Vueron Selected for Robert Bosch Korea’s ‘Open Bosch Korea 2026’

Vueron Technology, which leads innovation in the LiDAR cognitive solution sector, announced on the 30th that it has been finally confirmed as a company selected by global technology company Robert Bosch Korea's open innovation program "Open Bosch Korea 2026."

During the program, Vueron Technology toured major manufacturing production bases such as the headquarters of Robert Bosch Korea in Yongin, Sejong Bosch, and Bosch Rexroth Korea in Busan, and conducted technical exchanges with working-level staff and on-site safety management personnel.

Kim Jae-kwang, CEO of Vueron Technology, explained the specific driving mechanism and security competitiveness of the three-dimensional spatial recognition solution "Lookout" demonstrated in the field. "Lookout is a solution that completely overcomes the technical limitations of existing camera-based image analysis methods that simply distinguish the shape of objects," CEO Kim said. "By calculating precise 3D point cloud data collected by LiDAR sensors in real time, it is calculated as visualization data without errors in the real-time location of all dynamic objects such as forklifts, unmanned vehicles (AGVs), and field workers inside the factory, as well as the direction of progress and the speed of movement per second."

CEO Kim said, "The lookup solution operates three-dimensionally by analyzing congestion by specific areas that can be flexibly designated in software, notifying immediately of entering dangerous areas, predicting algorithms that prevent collisions by recognizing the predicted movement of forklifts and pedestrians, and capturing blind spot isolation workers."

"For an advanced unmanned logistics process, we do not collect image information for personal identification, as well as i2V (Infrastructure to Vehicle) technology that synchronizes smart infrastructure sensors, actual unmanned transport vehicles (AGVs) and forklifts with real-time wireless data. It is our unique technical asset that has fully demonstrated global regulatory responsiveness, including strict security regulations of manufacturing companies and the European Union's General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Regarding the results of such technology verification, Bosch Group, which participated in the event, said, "The lookout is LiDAR It was impressive that workers, facilities, and mobile objects could be accurately recognized using the underlying object recognition technology, he said. "Unlike video-based systems, we were able to confirm the possibility of using them for safety monitoring required at manufacturing sites while considering personal information protection."
